About
Hello my name is Terry Keane and I started GRADEPLAN in 2010. Having worked in the clothing trade since 1984 I thought the time was right to offer the skills I had developed over many years in the form of a pattern cutting, grading and lay planning service.
My experience in creating patterns extends to a wide range of garments for men, women and children in product areas such as outerwear, lingerie, swimwear and more diverse areas such as military and police protective wear where challenging fabrics like Kevlar and chain mesh are commonly used.
The experience gained from working in countries such as China, Sri Lanka and Morocco has given me a detailed understanding of how large manufacturing companies conduct their businesses. I have been able to introduce new ways of working to ensure best practise is adopted, not only in the production environment but also in the early development stages where real added value should be designed into new product.
I have designed the internal structures of raw material warehouses and cutting rooms taking a lead role in staff management, training and development, formulating policies and procedures in relation to the effective use of raw materials.
GRADEPLAN offers far more than a grading and lay planning service. In addition to the services listed above GRADEPLAN has associations with many other textile related businesses so whether you are having problems with quality control, struggling to source a fabric or need sewing or cutting equipment at competitive prices give me a call. 07967107475
